After another successful and busy year Christmas is almost upon us again – where does the time go? Be that as it may we at Bumpstead Antiques & Interiors and Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms wish you all a very, very happy, healthy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms will be open Friday to Monday 11am – 5 pm throughout this forthcoming August Bank Holiday (26th – 29th August) where you can enjoy fine Cream Teas, “Homemade” Cakes and other refreshments including speciality teas and unlimited filtered “gourmet” coffee, set amidst fine Antique Furniture, Clocks, Jewellery, Silver, Glass and other Collectables and objects of desire (all available to buy should you so wish), all against the back drop of the world renowned and historic Cavendish Green and village. A great place to visit and a warm welcome awaits.
May is virtually upon us and Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms comes into its own with special exhibitions, greater Tea Room space/more Tables, new and ever changing stock and a general air of excitement as the better weather arrives (hopefully)!
Just a brief reminder that this coming Sunday (7th February) gives those interested an opportunity to take advantage of a free Valuation/Apraissal of their treasures when both I (Graham) for Furniture, Collectables and objets d’vertu and Jacqui for pictures/Jewellery/collectables will be in attendance at Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms, The Green, Cavendish, Suffolk from 11 am – 5 pm for such purpose. All we ask is that you voluntarily give a donation for each valuation to our chosen Charity for 2015/16 “The Royal British Legion” for which their official Collection Box is provided.
Bumpstead Antiques & Interiors were pleased to be hosts to “specialists” Thomas Plant and Christina Trevanion when they both recently visited their main trade and retail showrooms at Steeple Bumpstead recently as part of the BBC’s latest and very succcessful “Roadside Antiques Trip” series.Needless to say a couple of bargains were found by Thomas and Christina to buy and on which a healthy profit was more than likely to be acheived (as was subsequently proven) at a later Auction.
A very happy Christmas to all our Customers and friends, past, present and future, with the very best of wishes for a peaceful, healthy, happy and successful New Year and through 2016. We look forward to seeing you and hopefully being of service to you in 2016.
