On Friday (1st May) we have the film crew team & “Expert” from the BBC Antiques Road Trip visiting us in connection with their new series currently being filmed in the area.
Easter rapidly approaches and with that the long awaited Spring & Summer Seasons. Hooray!
Whilst not forgetting the meaning of Easter and its very religious significance, to celebrate such Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms will be open from Friday 3rd April, Saturday, Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday 6th April from 11am until 5 pm daily serving, as always, freshly made speciality Teas, Gourmet Coffee, Scrumptious Cakes, Cream Teas. “lite lunches” and other refreshments.
Don’t forget our regular “first Sunday of the Month free Valuation & Appraisal Day” falls this Sunday 1st March when Jacqui & I shall be pleased to see anyone who has something they wish to have valued and/or appraised at our Cavendish “Antiques & Tea Rooms” shop ovelooking the Green in the beautiful and historic village of Cavendish, Suffolk, from 11am to 4.30pm.
Our “first Sunday of the month free valuations and assessments” day resumes on Sunday 1st February at our Cavendish shop – Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms, The Green, Cavendish and will take place on the first Sunday of each month throughout the year thereafter.
Well thats it, the end of another successful Christmas Selling Extravanganza and I therefore take this opportunity of thanking all those who took advantage of the same, their custom and their kind comments. I hope you and in some cases the lucky end-recepients are pleased with your purchases/their gifts.
Commencing from Friday 28th November and running up to 20th December we are holding our annual “Christmas Selling Extravaganza” at both Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms and our main showrooms at Steeple Bumpstead where you will be able to view a wide range of Christmas gifts and ideas including original art work,prints and engravings, vintage jewellery, Decanters and other glass ware, silver, bronze statues and other metal ware, Clocks, Lighting (including a good collection of Oil Lamps), China and even “toys” of yesteryear including Victorian Dolls, early 1900’s Lead Toy Soldiers and other figures, model Boats and early “Hornby” clockwork train set and related railwayana plus miltaria including first World War medals, cap and tunic badges, trench art and postcards of tha same era.
This coming Sunday 5th October (and on the first Sunday of each month) Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms in association with Bumpstead Antiques & Interiors, hold their “first Sunday of the month” valuation and appraisal day at their Cavendish shop where people can come along with their valuables and have them valued and appraised.
